JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) revealed that the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap Toll Road (Getaci) project received support from the Project Development Facility (PDF) from the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu).

With this support, the PU Ministry is optimistic that the preparation process until the completion stage of the Getaci Toll construction can be completed in the next two years.

Acting Director General of Infrastructure Financing at the Ministry of PU Ni, Komang Rasminiati, stated that currently his party is updating the feasibility study or feasibility study (FS) and completing various project preparation documents after the previous project cooperation ended.

"For now, the progress we are preparing is to update, review the feasibility study documents until later all the projects are ready, the readiness criteria, the environmental impact analysis (Amdal), the environmental permit, the DPPT is being prepared," said Komang in the Infrastructure Update Semester I-2026 at the Ministry of PU's office, Jakarta, Friday, June 5.

Komang added that the Getaci Toll Project received PDF support from the Ministry of Finance through PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) or SMI.

"(Toll) Getaci has received a kind of assistance from the Ministry of Finance in the form of a Project Development Facility. Later, the Ministry of Finance will assign the SOEs under it (PT SMI) to carry out the preparation of documents or projects," he said.

The PDF facility is expected to accompany the project from the preparation stage to the transaction or auction process.

"Well, hopefully this PDF facility will be provided from the preparation stage to the transaction stage or auction. Well, this is estimated to take about two years (to complete the project). That's for the progress (Toll) Getaci," he explained.

With the target of completing documents and auctions in the next two years, the Getaci Toll project has the potential to enter the construction phase in 2028.

The government hopes that after all the preparation documents are completed, the project can immediately be auctioned (tender) back to the private sector.

"The hope is that if all of these preparation documents are ready, the auction can be carried out immediately for its operation," he concluded.

Based on data from the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of PUPR, the Gedebage-Tasik-Ciamis Toll Road, which will become the longest toll road in Indonesia, has a total length of 108.3 kilometers.
