He added that the strengthening of the US dollar occurred quite significantly amid the sale of various assets, ranging from bonds, stocks, cryptocurrencies, to other currencies.

He added that this condition also contributed to the increase in the world crude oil price.
Apart from global factors, Lukman also assessed that domestic sentiment also influenced the movement of the rupiah, one of which was President Prabowo Subianto's statement responding to the weakening of the rupiah exchange rate which had penetrated the level of Rp17,600 per US dollar by saying that people in the village did not use dollars.
