PU Ministry Appoints 7 Level I Officials, Strengthen Governance and Execution of Programs

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) appointed seven high-level middle officials in echelon I on Friday, May 1 as part of institutional adjustments to support the implementation of government priority programs.

In his remarks, Minister PU Dody Hanggodo stated that this step aims to strengthen the effectiveness of the organization as well as improve governance quality.

The officials who were inaugurated were Apri Artoto as Secretary General and Arnold Aristoteles Paplapna Ritiauw as Director General of Water Resources.

In addition, the position of Head of the Agency and Expert Staff of the Minister is also filled to support the functions of planning, human resources development, and development integration.

Dody emphasized the importance of professionalism and integrity of the apparatus in encouraging the performance of the ministry, especially in the management of infrastructure budgets.

He also quoted President Prabowo Subianto's instructions regarding the importance of ASN that is clean and solid as the main foundation of government governance.

"The PU Ministry needs to continue to encourage improvements in governance and strengthening the integrity of ASN consistently," he said.

With this new structure, the PU Ministry is expected to be able to increase the efficiency of program implementation and ensure that the benefits of development are widely felt.

The following is the list of Eselon 1 officials who were inaugurated:

3. Bisma Staniarto - Head of Human Resources Development Agency

4. Adenan Rasyid - Head of the Regional Infrastructure Development Agency

5. Rachman Arief Dienaputra - Expert Staff of the Minister for Social Culture and Community Role

6. Indro Pantja Pramodo - Expert Staff of the Minister for Economic and Investment Affairs

7. Pantja Dharma Oetojo - Expert Staff of the Minister for Development Integration
