LPS Prepares Payment of Claims for Savings of Nagari Development BPR Customers

JAKARTA - The Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) has begun to prepare for the verification of PT BPR Pembangunan Nagari's customer data on March 31, 2026, which is located in Lubuk Basung, Agam Regency, West Sumatra.

This followed the revocation of the business permit (CIU) of the BPR through the letter of the Decision of the Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority Number KEP-28/D.03/2026 dated March 31, 2026.

Acting Director of the Secretariat Group of the Institution, Nur Budiantoro explained, the series of payment processes carried out by LPS will be accelerated by prioritizing the interests of savings customers and compliance with the applicable provisions.

"The payment process begins by verifying the correctness of the data of the Nagari Development Cooperative's customers," he said, Wednesday, April 1.

According to him, this verification is necessary to determine the status of customer deposits in accordance with the LPS 3T conditions. The 3T conditions for deposits guaranteed by LPS include being recorded in the bank's books; Interest rates do not exceed the LPS Guarantee Interest Rate; and It is not indicated and / or proven to have committed acts that violate the law resulting in bank losses.

After the data verification process is carried out, LPS will immediately announce the list of customers whose savings status has been determined at the location of the Nagari Development BPR Head Office. Customers can also see the payment announcement more easily through the website link https://apps.lps.go.id/statussimpanan. On this page, customers only need to fill in the bank name, namely PT BPR Pembangunan Nagari and the account number.
