JAKARTA - Ahead of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday, PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) showed its social concern by distributing compensation to 1,000 poor people around its factory location, Semarang Regency, Central Java.

This action is a continuation of the company's series of social activities, where previously Sido Muncul had also distributed similar benefits to 1,000 orphans in Jakarta.

The total assistance of Rp. 200 million was symbolically handed over by Sido Muncul Director, Irwan Hidayat, to the representative of the beneficiaries, witnessed directly by the Regent of Semarang, Ngesti Nugraha, at Agrowisata Sido Muncul, Semarang Regency, on Thursday, March 12.

The assistance distributed consists of 1,000 food packages and Sido Muncul's flagship health products which include rice, granulated sugar, instant noodles, wafers, cooking oil, as well as supplement products such as Kuku Bima Energi C1000, RTD Red Berry, Balsam Tolak Angin, and Ginger Milk.

This compensation activity has become a routine agenda carried out by the company and this year officially entered the 11th implementation.

In his remarks, Sido Muncul Director Irwan Hidayat expressed his gratitude for still being given the opportunity to share at the age of 79.

Irwan emphasized that the presence of a company must provide direct benefits to its immediate environment as a form of moral responsibility and concern to share happiness in a blessed month.

"I represent Sido Muncul, I think this is an extraordinary luck. At the age of 79, I can still give compensation. We give to the community around the company because I think every company should benefit the nearest environment. The most fortunate party is us because we are given the opportunity to do something," said Irwan Hidayat.

Furthermore, said Irwan, through various corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, Sido Muncul wants to continue to make a real contribution that goes beyond the nominal value of the assistance.

He hopes that this assistance can alleviate the burden of the needs of the poor and at the same time strengthen the harmonious relationship between the company and the surrounding community.

According to him, the most important thing is not how much is given, but how much good can be left for others because basically everyone has the ability to do good according to their respective capacities.
