PLN Presents Power Add Promo up to 50 Percent Through PLN Mobile

JAKARTA - PTPLN (Persero) has again held a discount promo for adding electricity in the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah.

Through this program, PLN provides a 50 percent discount on the cost of connecting additional power for single-phase customers with an initial power of 450 Volt Ampere (VA) to 5,500 VA for power addition up to 7,700 VA.

This promotion can be enjoyed by customers from February 25 to March 10, 2026 through the PLN Mobile application.

PLN Retail and Commercial Director, Adi Priyanto, revealed that this program is a form of PLN's commitment in providing electricity services to support the convenience of the community in carrying out worship during the month of Ramadan until Eid al-Fitr. This program provides an opportunity for customers who want to optimize the use of electricity through adding power at an affordable cost.

"During the Ramadan period, people's electricity needs tend to increase as household activities increase. Through this program, PLN provides ease of adding power at a lighter cost so that people can carry out activities, especially during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, which are constrained by power limitations," he said, Saturday, February 28.

Adi explained that customers who want to enjoy this power add discount promo simply make a token purchase transaction or pay the electricity bill through the PLN Mobile application. After that, customers will receive an e-voucher for power add that can be claimed through the promo feature on the application.

"After getting the e-voucher, customers can immediately apply for power addition through PLN Mobile by entering the voucher code. The next connection process will be carried out by PLN officers in accordance with the applicable Service Quality Level standard," added Adi.

As an illustration, a household customer with an initial power of 450 VA who wants to increase power to 7,700 VA is generally charged a connection fee of Rp7,025,250. Through this program, customers will receive a 50 percent discount on the fee so that the amount paid will only be Rp3,512,625.

"Through this program, we hope that customers can take advantage of the convenience of PLN Mobile digital services to ensure the adequacy of electricity at home, so that religious activities and family togetherness during the month of Ramadan can take place more comfortably without electricity constraints," concluded Adi.
