JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) recorded that the industrial confidence index (IKI) in February 2026 reached 54.02.

This figure is down 0.10 points compared to IKI in January 2026 which was recorded at 54.12.

Ministry of Industry spokesman Febri Hendri Antoni Arif said that although the IKI value decreased, the figure was still expanding. The score also increased by 0.87 points compared to the achievement of the February 2025 period which was only 53.15.

"In February, the IKI value fell slightly to 54.2. So, the IKI in February slowed down by 0.10 points compared to the IKI of 54.12 in January," said the spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry, Febri Hendri Antoni Arif in the February 2026 IKI Release in Jakarta, Thursday, February 26.

Febri added that in February, there were 19 subsectors that experienced expansion. The contribution of these 19 subsectors to gross domestic product (GDP) was 92.9 percent.

Optimistic business actors about their business conditions in the next six months still show a trend of increasing optimism in the last six months, namely 73.5 percent.
