JAKARTA - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) is implementing a stimulus policy of discount crossing rates and a single tariff scheme on a number of strategic national routes.

This discount is given in order to face the Lebaran homecoming 2026.

The policy is carried out based on the Joint Decree of cross-ministry and agencies related to traffic arrangements and crossing services during the 2026 Lebaran Transportation period, as well as the letter from the Director General of Land Transportation regarding the implementation of a single price ticket or dynamic pricing on the Merak-Bakauheni track.

The stimulus program is in force for 20 days, starting from March 12 to 31, 2026. This policy covers 14 ports and has an impact on seven regular and express lanes, with a total budget requirement for the stimulus reaching IDR 35.55 billion, and targeting directly 403,487 passengers and 945,501 vehicles, or equivalent to around 2,403,928 people based on the assumption of conversion of the number of passengers in vehicles.

The stimulus is in the form of a 100 percent discount on port services, which on average is equivalent to 21.9 percent of the total crossing ticket tariff.

The discount is valid on the Merak-Bakauheni (Regular and Executive PP), Ketapang-Gilimanuk, Lembar-Padangbai, Kayangan-Pototano, Tanjung Uban-Telaga Punggur, Ajibata-Ambarita, and Sape-Labuan Bajo routes.

ASDP President Director Heru Widodo said this tariff discount is valid for pedestrians and passenger vehicles.

On the regular service, stimulus is given for pedestrians, Group II and Group IVA vehicles, while on the executive service it applies to pedestrians and Group II vehicles.

In addition to the discount stimulus, ASDP also implements a single tariff policy on the Merak-Bakauheni track.

This scheme is implemented on March 13, 2026 at 12.00 WIB until March 20, 2026 at 15.00 WIB for departure from Merak Port, and March 23, 2026 at 00.00 WIB until March 29, 2026 at 24.00 WIB for departure from Bakauheni Port.

"During this period, there is no difference in tariffs between regular and express services. The executive service tariff is equal to the regular service tariff for pedestrians and passenger vehicles," he said in an official statement, Monday, February 23.

Along with the implementation of this policy, continued Heru, the pattern of operational services at the pier will be adjusted to the needs of traffic regulation.

Users of the service will be served based on the placement of ships and piers that have been determined, so that in this period there is no regular or express service selection based on time preferences.

Heru emphasized that the policy is part of the national strategy for traffic management and public services.

"Through stimulus and single tariffs, we want to ensure that the 2026 Lebaran homecoming takes place more orderly, affordable, and smoothly. This is a form of collaboration between the government and SOEs to provide safe crossing journeys while easing the burden on the community," said Heru.

Meanwhile, ASDP Corporate Secretary Windy Andale said ASDP ensured the readiness of the ticket sales system, socialization to service users, monitoring the absorption of stimulus benefits, and intensive coordination with all stakeholders.

To support the smooth flow of crossings, the public is urged to make reservations early through Ferizy which can be accessed from H-60 before departure.

"Tickets will be sent via WhatsApp and email with digital payment support, so that the trip can be planned more reliably and avoid long queues during peak periods," he said.

ASDP also emphasized that all service users must have a ticket before arriving at the port, travel according to the departure schedule stated, and ensure that passenger data and identity are filled in completely and correctly.

With this policy, the 2026 Lebaran homecoming is expected not only to be an inter-island transfer, but a journey managed with certainty, collaboration, and concern - so that every traveler can arrive at home safely and happily.
