Shell and BP Compact Fuel Prices Down, How at Pertamina Gas Stations?

JAKARTA - The decline in fuel prices (BBM) occurred simultaneously at a number of private gas stations starting February 1, 2026.

Shell Indonesia and BP are compact in cutting the prices of all types of fuels they market. What about Pertamina?

PT Pertamina (Persero) also officially lowered the selling price of non-subsidized fuel oil (BBM) or general fuel type (JBU) which is valid starting February 1, 2026. This adjustment makes all Pertamina non-subsidized fuel compact to reduce prices at all Pertamina-owned SPBU in Indonesia.

Referring to the company's official statement, Sunday, February 1, the price adjustment was carried out based on the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Number 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as a change to the ESDM Decree Number 62 K/12/MEM/2020 regarding the basic price formula in the calculation of retail prices of general fuel types of gasoline and diesel oil.

In this adjustment, the reduction in Pertamina's non-subsidized fuel prices ranges from Rp100 to Rp700 per liter, depending on the type and region. All non-subsidized products, ranging from Pertamax to Pertamina Dex, have recorded price corrections.

In the Java Island area, Pertamax (RON 92) fell by Rp500 per liter to Rp11,800 from Rp12,350 per liter. Meanwhile, Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) experienced a decrease of Rp700 per liter to Rp12,700 from Rp13,400 per liter.

For diesel types, Dexlite (CN 51) fell by Rp250 per liter to Rp13,250 from Rp13,500 per liter. Meanwhile, Pertamina Dex (CN 53) was corrected by Rp100 per liter to Rp13,500 from Rp13,600 per liter.

Meanwhile, Pertamax Green 95 (RON 95) also experienced a significant decrease of Rp700 per liter, from Rp13,150 to Rp12,450 per liter.

However, in some regions in Indonesia, the price of Pertamina fuel will of course be different.

The following is the list of Pertamina non-subsidized fuel prices as of February 1, which is valid on the island of Java:

Previously reported, Shell Indonesia lowered the prices of all its products by a range of Rp80 to Rp760 per liter. This price reduction applies in a number of regions, including Jakarta, Banten, West Java, and East Java.

The largest decrease occurred in Shell V-Power Nitro+, which is now sold for Rp12,720 per liter, down from Rp13,480 per liter. Meanwhile, Shell Super (RON 92) is now pegged at Rp12,050 per liter.

The same thing was done by BP. All BP fuels marketed in the Jabodetabek and East Java regions have experienced price reductions ranging from Rp260 to Rp690 per liter. BP Ultimate (RON 95) fell by Rp690 per liter to Rp12,500, while BP 92 is now sold at Rp12,050 per liter.
