Pegadaian Migrates Sharia-Conventional Services to Tring

PT Pegadaian has stopped the total operation of the Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) and Pegadaian Syariah Digital Service (PSDS) platforms after almost eight years, and migrated all service bases into one integrated application ecosystem called Tring.

This radical step was taken as part of a strategy to accelerate digital transformation to remove the barrier between conventional and sharia services that have required customers to use different applications.

"With the presence of Tring, we strive to provide a more integrated and customer-oriented service experience," said PT Pegadaian President Director Damar Latri Setiawan, quoted by Antara.

Damar explained that the migration to the application, which was completed on January 14, 2026, was not merely a name change, but an evolution of the service that allows its customers to manage their gold assets more dynamically. This platform integrates key services ranging from gold savings to gold bank ecosystem features.

"There is gold savings, if you need liquid funds, the balance of the savings can be mortgaged. The balance that is stored can also be used as a gold deposit so that its value increases. Even gold installments can also be done through this application," said Damar.

PT Pegadaian Regional Head of Region X West Java, Eko Supriyanto, said this transformation received serious attention in his region, which is known to have a high level of digital dependence, so he ensured his party's readiness.

Eko assessed that this integration would greatly facilitate West Java residents who have high mobility because they no longer need to be confused about switching applications to find both Sharia and conventional services.

"We in West Java are ready to fully support this transition. The presence of this platform is not just a name change for the application, but an improvement in service standards. Everything is in one hand, more concise and safer," he said, hoping that this migration will also be a driving force for national financial inclusion.
