Sido Muncul Receives Award from the Population Ministry

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) has won the GENTING (Parents' Movement for Preventing Stunting) award given by the Ministry of Population and Family Development/National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) with the Gold category as a Private Partner, at the Luwansa Hotel in Jakarta, Wednesday, December 10.

This award was handed directly by the Minister of Population who also served as the Head of the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) H. Wihaji and was received directly by the Director of Sido Muncul Dr. (H.C) Irwan Hidayat.

The Minister of Population/Head of BKKBN H. Wihaji said that the GENTING program (Parents' Movement to Prevent Stunting) was launched on December 5, 2024.

"I give the highest appreciation to the 120 parties who are GENTING Program Partners from mass media, corporations, private companies, SOEs, BUMD, to individuals," said Wihaji.

Director Irwan Hidayat appreciated the GENTING program carried out by the Ministry of Population, because with the program, as a form of humanity to those in need.

"By winning this award, I have a moral responsibility for this award, by continuing to carry out the stunting prevention program and continue to improve it," said Irwan.

Irwan added that assistance for stunting prevention is more effective in the form of cash for parents to then be given through official institutions such as Puskesmas.

He added that in addition to supporting the stunting prevention program, Sido Muncul also supports environmental campaigns and tourism campaigns.

"With the campaign to maintain the environment and the tourism campaign, it can help the local community's economy," concluded Irwan.
