The Progress Is 66 Percent, The Bocimi Section 3 Toll Road Is Targeted To Operate 2026

BOGOR - PT Trans Jabar Tol (PT TJT) targets that the construction of the Bogor 'Ciawi' Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road Section 3 of the Cibadak 'West Sukabumi Toll Road along 13.70 kilometers will be completed in mid-2026.

President Director of PT TJT Abdul Hakim Supriyadi said that currently, the progress of the construction of Section 3 of the Bocimi Toll Road has reached 66 percent. His party continues to accelerate development so that it can be completed according to the set target.

"For section 3 we are building, it is true (the progress) is around 66 percent. We are trying to finish it next year. So, from the side of our contract with the BPJT authority as far as I remember in mid-June next year, yes," said the Judge in a media briefing regarding the Preparation for Christmas Security in 2025 and New Year 2026 Section Ciawi Toll Road Sukabumi at the Trans Jabar Tol office, Bogor, West Java, Thursday, December 11.

The toll road was previously targeted to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. However, it is known that there are dynamics in the supply of raw materials that had stalled.

However, said the Judge, his party is currently formulating a number of solutions to deal with the problem.

Meanwhile, specifically for Section 4 of the 13.05 km East Sukabumi segment, it is still in the land acquisition stage. Of the total length, the land acquisition process is still at 10 percent.

"Regarding the readiness of the land, usually we can indeed construct the building when the land is sufficient above, it is enough to be acquired, at least 75-80 percent," he added.

When it is fully connected, the toll road will support the development of areas and economic equity while at the same time making it easier for tourists to go to superior destinations, such as SEZ Lido, Geopark Ciletuh 'Pelabuhan Ratu, Situ Gunung, Pelabuhan Ratu and various other natural attractions.

With the operation of two sections of the Bocimi Toll Road, now the travel time from Jakarta 'Sukabumi can be taken only about 1.5 hours from the previous taking about 5 hours under normal conditions and can reach 9 hours when traffic is heavy.

Meanwhile, the Cigombong 'Cibadak journey from the previous 1.5 hours can now be 10-15 minutes only thanks to the presence of the toll road. This makes it easier for motorists who go to Pelabuhan Ratu and Kota Sukabumi.
