Bocimi Section Does Not Implement Tariff Discounts, Here's An Explanation From The Managing Director Of Trans Jabar Toll Road

BOGOR - The Bogor 'Ciawi' Sukabumi (Bocimi) toll road does not apply tariff discounts during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays (Nataru 2025/2026). In fact, the toll road is projected to experience an increase in vehicle volume during that period.

PT Trans Jabar Tol as the operator of the section also opened its voice. President Director of PT Trans Jabar Tol Abdul Hakim Supriyadi said that his party only followed the direction of the regulator, in this case the Ministry of Public Works (PU).

This was conveyed by Said in a media briefing regarding the Preparation for Christmas Security in 2025 and New Year's 2026 Section of the Ciawi Toll Road Sukabumi at the Trans Jabar Toll Road office, Bogor, West Java, Thursday, December 11.

"Regarding discounts, we follow the provisions of the authorities. So, it has been determined which sections apply discounts," said Hakim.

The judge did not reveal specific reasons regarding the absence of tariff discounts on the toll road. It's just that, he said, his party followed the directions that had been conveyed by the government. "We will follow, of course, what the regulator has conveyed," he added.

Meanwhile, General Manager of Operations of PT Trans Jabar Tol Said Sudiarto admitted that vehicle traffic on the toll road was still not too significant.

He said the average number of vehicles crossing the toll road was only around 26,000 units and the majority traveled continuously.

"This means that from the direction of Parung Kuda towards Jaya it is more than 50 percent. Our traffic is still (not yet significant) compared to our neighbor, this (because) coincidentally our toll road, right, at the end," he explained.

According to Said, there is still a need for development around the toll road, in order to attract more road users through the Bocimi Toll Road.

"Actually, on the toll road, right, the problem of connectivity which is quite influential on the number of LHR increases (on average daily traffic)," said Said.

"After that, regional developments, which we also demand so that regional development in district/city and provincial governments can be faster. This means that we can increase (traffic) again," he added.

The government officially provides economic packages in the form of discounted toll rates of 10 percent to 20 percent during the Nataru 2025/2026 holiday period. The stimulus package was given to encourage the growth rate of the national economy.

Citing information shared by the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works (PU), there are at least nine Trans Java Toll Road sections that will impose tariff discounts during that period.

"To ease community mobility, BPJT together with toll road business entities present a 10-20 percent toll rate discount on several sections during the Nataru 2025/2026 period," explained BPJT in its official Instagram account @pupr_bjt, quoted Wednesday, December 10.

In detail, here is a list of nine Trans Java toll roads that will implement a 10-20 percent discount during the Nataru holiday:

1. Jakarta Toll Road (20 percent discount);

2. Jakarta Toll Road 'Cikampek II Elevated (20 percent discount);

3. Cikampek Toll Road Palimanan (20 percent discount);

4. Palimanan Toll Road (20 percent discount);

5. Kanci Toll Road (20 percent discount);

6. Pejagan Pemalang Toll Road (20 percent discount);

7. Pemalang Toll Road Batang (10 percent discount);

8. Batang Toll Road Semarang (20 percent discount); and

9. Semarang ABC Toll Road (20 percent discount).
