MMSGI Strengthens Commitment To 'Empower The Future' Through The CSR BIG Dream Program In Cilincing

JAKARTA - MMSGI shows its commitment to providing a sustainable social impact through the CSR BIG Dream program, a form of collaboration with the Life After Mine Foundation (LINE) which focuses on improving the quality of education and learning environment for Indonesian children. This year, the BIG Dream program was present at the Syarif Hidayatullah Foundation, Cilincing, North Jakarta, bringing concrete changes to hundreds of students through a series of volunteer activities, class renovations, and student capacity development.

Improvement of facilities is the main focus in this program. Through collaboration between the LINE Foundation, MMSGI, and all employees from various business pillars, the total donations collected reached Rp1 billion rupiah, reflecting the spirit of concern and mutual cooperation that continues to grow in the MMSGI environment. The donation was then used to renovate 10 classrooms, 3 bathroom facilities and repair the roof of the school building.

Not only that, the BIG Dream program also involves employees from MMSGI and business pillars with teachers and students working hand in hand to paint classrooms and clean school areas. The previously concerning learning environment such as leaking roofs, damaged walls, underprivileged classrooms has now become a more comfortable space, and it is safe for students to learn and develop their potential.

Overall, there are 232 students from elementary, junior high, to vocational schools who receive direct benefits from this program. Siti Nur Hayati, Deputy Principal of SMK Syarif Hidayatullah, appreciated MMSGI's steps from a series of BIG Dream activities. The ranks of teachers, staff and all students directly felt the benefits of changing the school's physicality and assistance from volunteers who are MSSGI employees provide new energy and motivation for students.

Since the beginning of the renovation of school buildings, painting classrooms and volunteer activities, I have really felt the sincerity of all MMSGI employees in helping. Everyone intervened regardless of position, together painting, cleaning the school environment and everything was done with pleasure. One of the CSR MMSGI Bigger Dream activities together with the LINE Foundation involved dozens of employees in an interactive teaching session to foster motivation and soft skills for 182 students of the Syarif Hidayatullah Cilincing Foundation, North Jakarta, last Saturday, November 29.

In addition to renovations, MMSGI presents interactive teaching sessions for more than 182 students with creative approaches such as storytelling,vision board preparation, to business models for canvas for vocational students. Through this session, students are encouraged to get to know themselves, understand personal strength, and start building their future vision. This effort is in line with the goal of the Bigger Dream program to instill the courage to dream and build children's character through an inclusive, inspiring, and collaboration-based learning room.

MMSGI CEO Sendy Greti explained that the BIG Dream program is a tangible form of the company's value in empowering the future of the younger generation.

Through BIG Dream, we want to make sure that Indonesian children, including in underserved areas, have a decent learning room, are accompanied to recognize their potential, and are given the courage to dream big. He also added that employee support as a volunteer is the main force of this program. "The active involvement of MMSGI personnel shows that collaboration is key. Together, we can create a wider and more sustainable impact on society," he added.

For information, the Imager Dream MMSGI program at the Syarief Hidayatullah Cilincing Foundation has also provided 232 school bags to students and teachers last August as well as a new school year, to foster motivation in the teaching and learning activity process that takes place in schools.
