JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has accelerated the recovery of electricity and fuel supply in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra Provinces after floods and landslides disrupted energy infrastructure at a number of points in the region.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia has ordered PT PLN (Persero) to immediately normalize electricity supply for the community.

"Last night (Thursday, 27/11) the electricity was turned off, I coordinated continuously with PLN. I immediately also communicated with the team. So, we sent some of these power poles towers using Hercules. Fajr (Friday, 28/11), some have entered and now start installation. In addition, the road there was cut off, so the first step we took was how to accelerate the electricity to turn on," Bahlil said, quoting Antara.
On the fuel supply side, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Yuliot ensured that PT Pertamina (Persero) would continue to distribute to public refueling stations (SPBU) that could still operate, even though road access in several areas was cut off due to landslides and damaged bridges.
