Revision Of The Mintita Permendag Immediately Completed, Minister Of Trade Budi: Bulog-ID FOOD Hold 35 Percent Distribution

The Ministry of Trade ensures that the revision of the Regulation of the Minister of Trade (Permendag) regarding the distribution of Oilita will be completed soon.

Through this regulation, BUMN Food will get a distribution portion of 35 percent.

The Minister of Trade (Mendag) Budi Santoso said the change in the rules was the key to strengthening the people's cooking oil trading system. Currently, Budi said he was finalizing the preparation of new rules related to the distribution of Oilita.

"We are changing the distribution of the Oil Oil policy. The distribution of cooking oil will be at least 35 percent distributed by the Food SOEs, namely Bulog and ID FOOD, the process of change is almost complete," he said at a press conference, at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 26.

Budi targets the revision of the Permendag to be signed before the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru) momentum.

That way, Budi hopes that the distribution of people's cooking oil will be better.

"Yesterday it was harmonized and it will be continued on Thursday for harmonization. Then after the harmonization has been completed, the Rider has been signed, so that in Nataru the distribution of cooking oil will be better," he said.

In addition, Budi also ensured that the prices of basic necessities ahead of Nataru were well controlled. In fact, he said that no basic commodities prices had soared.

Budi also said that the average price of basic commodities is also still below the highest retail price (HET) and sales reference prices (HAP).

"No price has soared and all are approaching the highest retail price or reference price. So everything is quite stable, yes, we will continue to help with supply and also needs in the community ahead of Nataru," said Budi.

Budi juga mengaku akan bertemu dengan pemasok serta distributor agar harga kebutuhan pokok selama Nataru bisa terkendali.

"Nanti minggu depan kita akan lakukan koordinasi dengan distributor, dengan pemasok. Kami sampaikan kepada teman-teman bahwa harga kebutuhan pokok saat ini relatif terkendali dengan baik,” ucapnya.

Budi also admitted that he would meet suppliers and distributors so that the prices of basic necessities as long as Nataru can be controlled.

"Next week we will coordinate with distributors, with suppliers. We tell our friends that the current price of basic necessities is relatively well controlled," he said.
