JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower, Yassierli opened the 2025 Batch II National Internship Program Orientation which was held virtually on Monday, November 24.
On this occasion, the Minister of Manpower emphasized that the six-month apprenticeship program is an important momentum for participants to enter the world of work in real terms, strengthen portfolios, and improve competence according to industrial needs.
The Minister of Manpower explained that during the program, the participants will receive direct guidance from experienced mentors who are ready to direct, assist, and help them display their best performance.
According to him, the role of mentor is the key in shaping participants' readiness to face the demands of modern dynamic work.
The Minister of Manpower also highlighted rapid changes in the employment landscape. In the next two to three years, many new types of jobs are predicted to emerge, while a number of old jobs will experience automation due to technological developments and artificial intelligence (AI).
This condition, said the Minister of Manpower, not only presents challenges, but also opens up great opportunities for those who are able to adapt quickly.
"For this reason, the importance of having a growth mindset is the belief that a person's ability can continue to develop through the process of learning, business, and experience," Yassierli said, Monday, November 24.
