Amran Calls The Realization Of The New Ministry Of Agriculture's Budget Capai 72.41 Percent

JAKARTA - Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman revealed that the realization of the Ministry of Agriculture's budget for the 2025 fiscal year has only reached 72.41 percent as of November 20, 2025.

"We continue to strive to increase budget absorption, it is projected that absorption realization until December will reach a minimum of 93 percent," he said in a statement with Commission IV of the DPR, quoted from YouTube Commission IV, in Jakarta, Monday, November 24.

The absorption of the budget, said Amran, will be carried out through optimizing the implementation of programs and activities in the field while maintaining the implementation of activities and financial accountability in an accountable manner.

Amran said, the Ministry of Agriculture's effective ceiling in 2025 reached IDR 31.12 trillion. This figure includes an additional budget sourced from the Additional Expenditure Budget (ABT) of IDR 2.46 trillion.

"The additional budget sourced from the ABT is a sandals at the direction of the President directly to the Ministry of Agriculture," he said.

Amran said the additional budget was directed to increase the production of strategic agricultural commodities, including sugar cane, coffee, coconut, cocoa, mente, pepper, and nutmeg.

"Through regional development programs, strengthening improvements, plantation plants, and other management and technical support," he said.

Amran explained that the progress of the Ministry of Agriculture's budget realization until November 20, 2025, after taking into account the outstanding e-catalog contract and blocking the budget reached 72.41 percent.

Furthermore, Amran said, one of the main causes of the slow absorption of the budget until now is the blocking of funds carried out by the Ministry of Finance.

"In September there was still a block of IDR 8 trillion, and in October there was still a partial block. This is one of the causes of delays that only reached 72 percent. But God willing, at the end of the year we will try 93 percent of the state budget expenditure achievement," he said.
