Hutama Karya Working On SPPG Facilities At National Strategic Points

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) (HK) to carry out the construction of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) building at 78 strategic points throughout Indonesia as part of the Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG) for the 2025 fiscal year.

The Director General of Strategic Infrastructure at the Ministry of Public Works, Bisma Staniarto, explained that the construction of the SPPG was carried out in locations with various access characteristics. Areas with adequate transportation access include Aceh Besar District, Dumai City, Pekanbaru City, Jambi City, Pidie Jaya Regency, and Medan City.

Meanwhile, remote locations include the Anambas Islands, Kampar Regency, Sarolangun, as well as a number of other points in Sumatra and its surroundings. Each location is targeted to be completed within 41 calendar days with a maintenance period of 180 days.

The core facilities built at each point include main buildings (consisting of kitchen, distribution, and storage areas), supporting buildings such as generator houses, TPS, and Bak IPAL, infrastructure and landscape areas, kitchen utensils, and food distribution vehicles.

"We hope that all developments can run according to the standards for the construction of free nutrition programs and support the acceleration of infrastructure in the National Red and White Program," he said in a statement to the media, Saturday, November 22.

Executive Vice President Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya, Mardiansyah explained, previously HK had also successfully completed the construction of the SPPG prototype in Jambi City as part of the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL). The MBG public kitchen project in Pasir Putih, Jambi City, began in the third week of August 2025 and was completed in October 2025 which proves the company's ability to ensure the quality and accuracy of project completion.

We integrate modern construction technology with intensive collaboration with local governments to face field challenges and ensure that all construction is completed by the end of December 2025. The SPPG building functions as the main kitchen and food distribution center, with designs that meet national technical standards. This project is spread across 78 locations in seven provinces of Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Riau Islands, Jambi, and South Sumatra, so that the benefits can be felt evenly," he continued.

He added that this development is in line with the 4th Asta Cita of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, namely improving the quality of infrastructure and public services.
