BI Records QRIS Transactions Growing 139.45 Percent In October 2025

JAKARTA - Bank Indonesia (BI) reported that the volume of digital payment transactions through the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) in October 2025 continued to grow rapidly by 139.45 percent (yoy) supported by an increase in the number of users and merchants.

BI Governor Perry Warjiyo said that the performance of digital economic and financial transactions in October 2025 continued to grow positively supported by a safe, smooth, and reliable payment system.

"The volume of digital payment transactions reached 4.45 billion transactions or grew 31.20 percent (yoy) in October 2025 supported by the expansion of digital payment acceptance," Perry said at a press conference, Wednesday, November 19.

Furthermore, the volume of mobile and internet application transactions grew by 2.91 percent (yoy) and 12.03 percent (yoy), respectively.

Meanwhile, in terms of infrastructure, the volume of retail transactions processed through BI-FAST reached 446.77 million transactions or grew 31.96 percent (yoy) with a transaction value of Rp1,115.09 trillion in October 2025.

Perry conveyed that the volume of large value transactions processed through the BI-RTGS system was recorded at 0.99 million transactions, with a value of Rp22,524.61 trillion in October 2025.

Meanwhile, in terms of managing Rupiah money, the Circulated Kartal Money (UYD) grew 13.37 percent (yoy) to Rp1,213.76 trillion in October 2025.
