Pertamina Hulu Energy Oil And Gas Production 1.03 Million Barrels Equivalent To Oil Per Day

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) recorded an oil and gas production figure of 1.03 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (MMBOEPD). This figure consists of oil production of 553,000 barrels per day (MBOPD) and gas production of 2.83 billion cubic feet per day (BSCFD) standards.

Pertamina's Subholding Upstream Corporate Secretary, Hermansyah Y Nasroen said, in addition to maintaining production stability, PHE also showed superior performance in other operations such as the realization of drilling 661 exploits, 969 well workover activities, 28,507 well well wells activities, 109 kilometer (km) 2D seismic surveys, 652 square kilometers (km2) of 3D seismic surveys, and 15 well exploration drilling until the end of September 2025.

"This achievement is proof of PHE's commitment to maintaining national energy security through increasing operational efficiency and reliability throughout the work area, both domestically and internationally," he said in a statement to the media, Wednesday, November 19.

Hermasyah continued, PHE also noted that significant performance in the discovery of 2C resources reached 870 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBOE).

The big finding in Rokan's working area is one of the main contributors to the growth of these resources, including from the potential for non-conventional oil and gas (MNK) in the Safe Trough K7A and K7B areas as well as the addition of P1 reserves of 149 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBOE).

"The success of finding resources and adding reserves shows a positive direction for the sustainability of Indonesia's oil and gas production in the future in supporting the achievement of national energy resilience and independence targets," said Hermansyah.
