JAKARTA - Bank Indonesia (BI) reported that until September 2025, the Bank Indonesia (ATBI) Annual Budget recorded a surplus of IDR 77.9 trillion.

BI Governor Perry Warjiyo explained that strengthening the BI policy mix to maintain stability and support economic growth and transformation, including the impact of global dynamics, will also affect ATBI's performance in 2025.

According to Perry, the surplus came from total revenues of Rp194.409 trillion, while expenses reached Rp116.532 trillion.

"As of September 2025, a budget surplus of IDR 77.9 trillion occurred," he said during a working meeting with Commission XI of the DPR, Wednesday, November 12.

Perry added that this year's ATBI projection is estimated to have a surplus of IDR 68.663 trillion, a significant increase compared to the initial target, which was originally estimated to have a deficit of IDR 26.714 trillion.

Meanwhile, this surplus is estimated to come from total revenues of IDR 234.386 trillion and expenditures of IDR 165.72 trillion.

In more detail, the total revenue policy budget is projected at IDR 176.2 trillion and expenditures of IDR 140.9 trillion, resulting in a surplus of IDR 35.2 trillion.

Meanwhile, the operational budget is estimated to receive IDR 58.1 trillion with an expenditure of IDR 24.7 trillion, so that the surplus reaches IDR 33.3 trillion.

He conveyed that with this performance, BI was one of the largest taxpayers in Indonesia.

Perry also added that by the end of the year, Bank Indonesia's capital ratio is expected to be above 10 percent.

"Of course the prognosis possibilities until the end of the year are still there, then our capital ratios are likely to be above 10 percent so maybe some of it will, of course, in detail we will do it," he explained.
