The Ministry Of Manpower And Bank Mandiri Sign MoU To Improve Human Resources Competence And Provision Of Banking Services

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk have established strategic synergies to improve the competence of human resources (HR) in the employment sector and strengthen the provision and utilization of banking services.

This agreement was marked by the signing of a joint understanding between the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Manpower, Cris Kuntadi, and the SEVP of Bank Mandiri Institutional Relations, Dadang Ramadhan Putranto, on Friday, October 24.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower, Cris Kuntadi, explained that this collaboration includes creating decent and productive jobs, improving the quality of human resources, and strengthening an inclusive and just economy.

According to him, the Ministry of Manpower is committed to expanding cross-sectoral collaboration in order to accelerate the achievement of Asta Cita's targets. He emphasized that the success of employment development cannot be achieved only by the government, but requires the support of all stakeholders, including the banking sector.

"We welcome Bank Mandiri's support in building an inclusive, productive, and sustainable labor ecosystem. This synergy is a real example of how the government and the business world can go hand in hand to prosper the people," said Cris in a statement to the media, Saturday, October 25.

He hopes that this collaboration will soon be realized through concrete programs, such as vocational training based on industrial needs, facilitation of young entrepreneurs, to micro-financing for productive workers in various regions.

Meanwhile, Bank Mandiri's SEVP for Institutional Relations, Dadang Ramadhan Putranto, expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Manpower for his trust in building cooperation with his party.

"We are grateful for the trust of the Ministry of Manpower, and we are committed to carrying out this mutual understanding as well as possible," said Dadang.
