Only 2.6 Million Taxpayers Amplify Cross, DGT Targets 14 Million

The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) revealed that up to now only 2.6 million Taxpayers (WP) have activated the beliax account, or are still below the national target of reaching 14 million taxpayers.

"The activation is around 2.6 million taxpayers, our target is 14 million taxpayers," said Director General of Bimo Wijayanto at the APBNKita press conference, Tuesday, October 14.

Furthermore, Bimo explained that of this amount, as many as 2.05 million were private people's taxpayers and 550 thousand were corporate taxpayers.

However, of the 2.05 million private people's taxpayers, only about 1.2 million already have an electronic authorization and certificate code.

"Especially for private people, we really are urgent, so that of the two million, only 1.2 million already have an electronic authorization and certificate code. This code of authorization and electronic certificate is needed as a digital signature in the DGT quintex," he said.

Bimo conveyed that to increase WP participation, DGT continues to disseminate information in various ways, including direct counseling and counseling.

In addition, he conveyed that the DGT is also preparing an annual SPT reporting simulator for corporate and personal taxpayers.

Bimo also added that as many as 20 thousand employees of the Ministry of Finance will be involved in the system stress test that will be carried out this month simultaneously.

"There is already an annual agency SPT simulator and also a simulator that we are currently preparing and we will be under stress testing this month. 20 thousand of our employees will do a stress test at the same time," he said.
