JAKARTA - Infinity Continuity, in partnership with Campaign for Good, has launched #BusinessContinuityID, a first-of-its-kind campaign that brings together corporate and social sector leaders to build a culture of resilience across Indonesia.

Through an open call that attracted applicants from across the country, five social organisations serving the community were selected via a transparent and participatory community vetting process on the Campaign for Good platform. The five organisations received fully sponsored social impact seats, enabling grassroots and public-serving organisations to participate in the Business Continuity Management (BCM) training alongside private sector professionals.

This marks the first time in Indonesia that a community-based selection process has been used to promote business continuity and knowledge sharing between corporations and nonprofits, combining professional expertise with on-the-ground experience to build cross-sector resilience.

“This program goes beyond risk management; it’s about ensuring that every organisation, big or small, can continue serving their communities and creating positive impact, even in times of crisis,” said Gary Ng, Director of Preparedness & Resiliency and Founder of Infinity Continuity. “We believe true business resilience must be both inclusive and locally relevant.”

Held at Ascott Kuningan Jakarta, the two-day BCM Managers Course brought together 20 participants from diverse sectors, including corporate executives, social innovators, and community leaders. The course introduced global BCM standards, organisational frameworks, and hands-on crisis simulations designed to test real-world preparedness and collaboration.

“#BusinessContinuityID shows that resilience starts from the ground up,” said William Gondokusumo, CEO of Campaign for Good. “Our goal is to make business continuity not only inclusive but community-driven, where every action contributes to stronger, more connected networks of social resilience.”

The initiative highlights Infinity Continuity’s commitment to localising business continuity knowledge and Campaign for Good’s focus on amplifying social impact through transparent, community-driven selection processes. Together, the partners are demonstrating how corporate preparedness and community empowerment can reinforce one another, advancing both business resilience and social impact in Indonesia.

During the reflection session, participants shared their key takeaways from the training. Fin Ultrami, Finance Manager of the Indonesian Philanthropy Association, said, “The Business Continuity Management course was highly beneficial. It offered new perspectives on building more resilient organizational procedures and provided valuable insights into how developed countries like Singapore implement comprehensive business resilience strategies.”

Driven by collaboration, #BusinessContinuityID reminds us that resilience is not built by any one sector alone; it grows when businesses, communities, and institutions learn, adapt, and persevere together.
