JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Purbaya Yudhi Sadive finished delivering his speech at the Investor Daily Summit 2025 entitled "New Economic Order" at the Jakarta Convention Center, Thursday, October 9.

Based on VOI monitoring at the location at around 18.55 WIB, Purbaya was seen surrounded by audiences consisting of young people taking selfies.

When they were about to leave the main location, Purbaya had been waiting for them to just say hello and take selfies.

The momentum lasted about 5 minutes and finally Purbaya headed to the interview location with the media crew.

During the interview session, two young people were seen shouting "man handsome, handsome father".

Suddenly, media colleagues also felt a little angry, because they interfered with the ongoing interview.

Knowing that Purbaya was hailed like that, one of the media crew asked.

"Sir, become a new idol, here, sir. Do you want to be a vice presidential candidate, sir?" asked one of the media crew at the location.

Hearing this question, Purbaya immediately answered firmly.

"Wow, it's been a month of crazy work, you know. That, right, can change. If the economy is good, once it goes down, it goes down again. The economy, right, goes up and down. So, don't be quick and I don't think about it at all," said Purbaya.

Setelah melakukan sesi wawancara, Purbaya langsung meninggalkan lokasi acara.

Namun demikian, dia kembali diserbu para audiens yang sudah menantikan dirinya untuk sekadar menyapa dan berswafoto.

Saat hendak keluar, Purbaya bahkan harus mendapatkan pengawalan ketat dari sejumlah ajudan dan pengawal di lokasi acara untuk mengamankannya sampai masuk ke mobil.
