Beware Of Traffic Jams! Jasa Marga Closes Toll Gate Burns Due To Demo For Repairs

Jasa Marga has officially temporarily closed several toll gates (GT) in Jakarta that were burned by the masses during a demonstration at the end of August 2025. This step was taken because at that location there would be an acceleration of improvement.

Senior General Manager of Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Widiyatmiko Nursejati said that six toll gates were closed for acceleration of repairs.

The times are varied, adapted to the need for improvement. However, generally closures and work are carried out for 24 hours.

"We have accelerated this repair so that the affected toll gates can immediately function optimally again. Even though there is a closure, we have prepared transaction engineering so that road users can still travel comfortably," said Widiyatmiko in his official statement, quoted Wednesday, September 24.

Since the mass was damaged, Jasamarga still operates toll gates even though they have to use simple equipment. The types of vehicles that can pass are also very limited.

The reason is, only Class I vehicles and buses are served by officers to enter the toll road through these gates. With the acceleration of repairs, it is not impossible that toll services can be optimal again as before.

"We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this work and appeal to all road users to pay attention to the closing schedule, adjust travel routes and comply with signs and directions from officers in the field," he said.

However, keep in mind that the closure will certainly have a major impact on the smooth flow of traffic. Therefore, it is highly recommended for the public to avoid these locations.

GT Slipi 1, GT Slipi 2 and GT Pejompongan, starting September 24, 2025 at 00.00 WIB until September 25, 2025 at 24.00 WIB.

GT Semanggi 1 and GT Kuningan 1, starting September 24, 2025 at 00.00 WIB to September 24, 2025 at 24.00 WIB.

GT Semanggi 2, starting September 25, 2025 at 00.00 WIB to September 25, 2025 at 24.00 WIB.
