JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto's government has again rolled out an economic package policy to encourage the growth rate.
This time, the government disbursed IDR 3.5 trillion for a cash-intensive program at the Ministry of Public Works (PU) and the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub).
Related to this, the Minister of Public Works, Dody Hanggodo, admitted that he was optimistic that he could absorb the majority of the economic policy packages.
Later, the cash injections launched by the government will be allocated for the Irrigation Water Administration Improvement Acceleration Program (P3TGAI) to the Regional Socio-Economic Infrastructure Development Program (Pisew).
"Yes, there is. Those are all for those who are labor-intensive, such as P3TGAI," said Dody when met at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 15.
When asked further about which areas the acceleration of the labor-intensive program is, Dody was reluctant to elaborate. He only ensured that the implementation would be evenly distributed throughout the country.
"Yes, throughout Indonesia Raya. It was asked to speed it up, the process was asked to be accelerated so that the money rolled down. So it's not a contractualist. Contractualists are allowed, but the existing contractuals are labor-intensive about that," he said.
