Government Forms A Special Team For National Economic Acceleration

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadivewa revealed that the government has formed a Special Team for the Acceleration of Economic Development Programs.

This team is tasked with supervising and overcoming various obstacles in the implementation of the national priority program run by the government of President Prabowo Subianto.

"For the acceleration team for the economic development program, basically we will monitor all the main government programs or Pak Prabowo. So in the future (the program) should not be jammed again. If there are traffic jams, we will accelerate so that it runs well," said Purbaya at a press conference at the State Palace, Monday, September 15.

He conveyed that apart from functioning as program supervisors, this team also opened special channels for business actors to submit complaints or obstacles in their business activities and each report will be discussed regularly.

"Secondly, we will also receive complaints from business people, anyone who has a business who still feels there is a disturbance in the economic system or when they do business. We will receive their report, we will hold trial in this team every once a week. So this is like the Pokja 4 in the previous era," he said.

He hopes that the existence of this team can significantly reduce the obstacles faced by the private sector, so that private-driven economic growth can run in line with growth from the government side.

"I hope that with this team, we can eliminate all obstacles in the private sector significantly so that private growth machines can also grow well along with the government's growth machines," he concluded.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto menjelaskan bahwa tim tersebut akan dipimpin langsung oleh Menko Perekonomian dan Menko Pangan.

Sementara itu, posisi wakil ketua akan diisi oleh Menteri Keuangan, Menteri Investasi/Kepala BKPM, dan Menteri PPN/Bappenas, dengan anggota terdiri dari para menteri yang terlibat dalam program terkait.

On the same occasion, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto explained that the team would be led directly by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and the Coordinating Minister for Food.

Meanwhile, the position of deputy chairman will be filled by the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM, and the Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas, with members consisting of ministers involved in related programs.
