BCA Launches Mobile Gen Z Video: Service For Indonesia

JAKARTA PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) through the Bakti BCA program launched a video of Gen Z Bergin: Bakti for Indonesia, which shows the journey of four teams of students who won the Genera-Z Berbakti program in four tourist villages assisted by BCA.

The eight-minute video shows the beauty of Derawan Island (East Kalimantan), Kiluan Bay (Lampung), Edelweis Wonokitri (East Java), and Zamrud Lake in Dayun (Riau). This semi-documentary concept presents student innovation as well as regional tourism potential.

Actor Nicholas Saputra and actress Happy Salma are also involved, not only as vortices, but also a judging panelist who accompanies students and the community at the program location.

The Genera-Z Berbakti program which has been going on since March 2025 was attended by more than 250 proposals from 98 universities. After going through a joint judging by Prof. Yohanes Surya, four winning teams were selected from the University of Indonesia, Sam Ratulangi University, Lampung University, and Gadjah Mada University.

Menurut Hera F. Haryn, EVP Corporate Communication and Social Responsibility BCA, Genera-Z Berbakti menjadi wujud komitmen BCA mendorong generasi muda berkontribusi nyata bagi masyarakat desa wisata.

“Generasi muda adalah sumber gagasan kreatif dan inovasi. Pelibatan mereka krusial untuk menyiapkan pelopor perubahan dalam merealisasikan visi masa depan Indonesia,” ujar Hera.

According to Hera F. Haryn, BCA's EVP Corporate Communication and Social Responsibility, Genera-Z Berkakti is a form of BCA's commitment to encourage the younger generation to contribute significantly to the tourism village community.
