JAKARTA - The Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI) said that the total investment assets of the life insurance industry were recorded at IDR 551.31 trillion as of June 2025.

The investment performance of the life insurance industry was also recorded as positive in gold instruments, which jumped 25.9 percent yoy to IDR 5.54 trillion.
Meanwhile, investment placement in deposits was recorded at IDR 33.71 trillion, or down 6.8 percent yoy, with a contribution of 6.1 percent of total investment.
Handojo said that investment placement in stocks also decreased by 13.6 percent yoy to Rp121.5 trillion.
