Airlangga Asks MSMEs Fostered By Sampoerna To Participate In Selling Bulog's SPHP Rice

Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto wants cheap rice for the supply stabilization and food price (SPHP) program to be also sold at the retail store fostered by PT HM Sampoerna Tbk.

Furthermore, Airlangga said that this step could make it easier for the public to get cheap SPHP rice. He said he had also discussed this with the President Director of Perum Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani.

"Moreover, the President Director of Bulog said that the SRC with 250,000 outlets is expected to distribute SPHP so that people around the SRC can enjoy rice at affordable prices," he said at Smesco Indonesia, Jakarta, Friday, August 22.

At the event, Airlangga also asked SRC partners who were present. Are you ready to sell rice.

"Can this SRC businessman be able to do it? Are you ready or not?," he said.

Hearing Airlangga's question, they simultaneously answered that they were able to sell SPHP rice.

"Sangup," said SRC partner.

Not only that, Airlangga also asked whether SRC partners who sold rice made a profit.

Meanwhile, Sampoerna President Director Ivan Cahyadi said the People's Party for 2025 was part of Sampoerna's collaboration with five SOEs. Including Perum Bulog.

"The strategic cooperation agreement between SRC and these five leading SOEs is one of the initiatives that accelerate access to the availability of goods and services at 250,000 grocery stores assisted by SRC," he said.
