He emphasized that infrastructure development is not only physically oriented, but also in strengthening human resources, reducing poverty and increasing access to education and health, especially for underprivileged communities.

In the coordination meeting, AHY explained a number of strategic agendas, ranging from equitable development and spatial planning, revitalizing transmigration areas to accelerating connectivity policies.

The chairman of the Democratic Party also highlighted the control of over-dimensional over-load (ODOL) vehicles which were deemed necessary to prevent accidents and road damage.

In addition, said AHY, his party received a special task from President Prabowo Subianto to oversee the sustainability of the high-speed rail project to Surabaya.

"This is a game changer to accelerate human mobility, goods and services," explained AHY.

Furthermore, AHY also raised issues related to the investigation of transportation accidents, accelerating the development of Enggano Island and reactivation of international airports to support tourism.

"What is clear is that the enthusiasm is to activate international airports and is expected to increase the flow of tourism better," he concluded.
