Direct Review of Cement Supply in Aceh, SIG President Director Ensure Normal Distribution

JAKARTA - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) has accelerated steps to handle the availability of cement supplies in Aceh through the optimization of production and distribution within the SIG Group network. This step is ensured directly by the President Director of SIG, Indrieffouny Indra, by conducting a working visit to lead field coordination and ensure cement supply in the midst of increasing market demand which has an impact on supply constraints in a number of regions as well as price fluctuations in stores.

As the largest producer of building materials in Indonesia, Indrieffouny Indra emphasized SIG's commitment to maintaining the sustainability of cement supply for the community and development in the Sumatra region. During the visit to Aceh, Indrieffouny Indra reviewed the operations of PT Solusi Bangun Andalas in Lhoknga, evaluated the readiness of production, distribution, and logistics facilities, and led a coordination meeting with management to accelerate the recovery of supplies. The activity was then continued by reviewing the distribution network and dialoguing with major distributors to ensure the availability of cement in the market.

"We are present directly on the ground to ensure that every obstacle can be immediately identified and resolved. Our priority is to ensure that community needs and development continue to be met through adequate cement supply and increasingly smooth distribution," said Indrieffouny Indra.

To accelerate the recovery of market conditions, SIG has prepared a number of strategic steps, including:

• Optimizing production and expenditure from the Lhoknga Factory and Lhokseumawe Packing Plant, as well as adding supply to the market through the Malahayati Packing Plant.• Strengthening coordination with distributors, logistics partners, and local governments to accelerate distribution to the market level;• Conducting daily monitoring of stock conditions, distribution, and demand as the basis for rapid operational decision-making.

According to Indrieffouny Indra, the distribution challenge in the Aceh region and the high demand mobility require close coordination between companies, governments, distributors, and logistics partners. Therefore, SIG formed an intensive cross-functional coordination mechanism so that every development in the field can be immediately followed up.

"We want to ensure that the public and development actors obtain certainty of supply. All of our SIG resources are directed to accelerate the recovery of distribution so that market conditions can return to normal in the shortest possible time," he said.

In addition to ensuring the smooth supply, SIG also continues to coordinate with local governments, distributor networks, and other stakeholders to maintain distribution in an orderly and efficient manner. The company appeals to all distribution partners to prioritize healthy and responsible distribution practices so that products can be received by consumers evenly.
