Affirms No Moratorium On IKN Projects, This Is What Basuki Said

JAKARTA - Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN), Basuki Hadimuljono, emphasized that there was no moratorium on development projects at IKN.

In fact, he continued, President Prabowo Subianto has ordered to accelerate the development of the judiciary and legislative sector in the next three years.

"From the Palace, it was stated that there would be no moratorium, and the IKN development would be accelerated. President Prabowo ordered that the judicial and legislative development be completed in three years. IKN is a national priority project that legally has laws and the budget that has been prepared," Basuki said in his statement.

Road construction at KIPP 1B has also begun, considering that a number of investments have begun to enter the area.

"Now we are at KIPP 1A, there is the Palace, on the right is Legislative, and on the left is Judicative. We will build all of this in three years. Currently, road construction at KIPP 1B has also begun because there are several incoming investments," explained Basuki.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of the IKN Authority, Bimo Adi Nursanthyasto explained that currently IKN has been inhabited by around 1,200 ASN and 5,000 construction workers, and is visited by thousands of local tourists every day.

With the potential population of 25,000 people as government activities run fully, IKN is a potential market for investors.

"In addition, there are thousands of local tourists who come every day as well as routine visits from government guests. This is often what investors ask how many target markets? We believe asset management such as in SCBD can be implemented here, through promising B2B cooperation," said Bimo.

Dia menambahkan, Kementerian PANRB telah menyampaikan kepada Otorita IKN untuk menyusun kriteria prioritas pemindahan ASN.

Sebanyak 16 kementerian/lembaga telah terpilih untuk relokasi awal, dengan jumlah ASN sekitar 3.500 orang.

Menanggapi hal tersebut, perwakilan Artha Graha Network, Michael Iskandar menyatakan ketertarikannya, terutama dalam sektor hospitality dan food & beverage (F&B).

"Pembangunan ini sangat menarik. Kami akan pelajari lebih lanjut peluang yang bisa dikembangkan," ujarnya.

He added that the PANRB Ministry had conveyed to the IKN Authority to prepare priority criteria for the transfer of ASN.

A total of 16 ministries/agencies have been selected for initial relocation, with an ASN number of around 3,500 people.

Responding to this, Artha Graha Network representative Michael Iskandar expressed his interest, especially in the hospitality and food & beverage (F&B) sector.

"This development is very interesting. We will study further opportunities that can be developed," he said.
