The Suspect In The Oplosan Boss Case, Food Station Boss Has A Wealth Of IDR 12.7 Billion Without Debt

JAKARTA President Director of PT Food Station Tjipinang (FS) Employee Gunarso was named a suspect in the case of alleged circulation of premium rice that did not comply with quality standards (oplosan).

The determination was made after an in-depth investigation into rice production and distribution activities by the state-owned company.

Gunarso employees are known to have served as President Director of PT Food Station Tjipinang since April 30, 2024, after previously serving as President Director of PT Sang Hyang Seri.

Based on the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) submitted to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Gunarso was recorded as having a total wealth of IDR 12,738,739,511 as of December 31, 2024.

Rincian kekayaan tersebut meliputi tanah dan bangunan di Bogor, Sukabumi, dan Subang, Jawa Barat senilai Rp 9,53 miliar; alat transportasi dan mesin sebesar Rp 769,7 juta; kas dan setara kas Rp 1,44 miliar; dan harta lainnya Rp1 miliar.

Menariknya, dalam laporan tersebut, Gunarso tidak memiliki utang sama sekali selama menjabat sebagai direksi di perusahaan pelat merah tersebut.

Diberitakan sebelumnya, Satgas Pangan Polri menetapkan tiga orang tersangka dalam kasus peredaran beras yang tidak sesuai standar mutu atau beras oplosan. Salah satu tersangka adalah Direktur Utama PT Food Station, Karyawan Gunarso.

“Penyidik telah melakukan gelar perkara dan menemukan dua alat bukti untuk meningkatkan status tiga orang karyawan PT FS sebagai tersangka,” kata Kasatgas Pangan Polri yang juga Direktur Tindak Pidana Ekonomi Khusus Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen Helfi Assegaf kepada wartawan, Jakarta, Jumat, 1 Agustus.

Dua tersangka lainnya yakni RL selaku Direktur Operasional dan RP yang menjabat Kepala Seksi Quality Control.

Penetapan ketiga tersangka dilakukan setelah penyidik melakukan serangkaian penyelidikan dan pemeriksaan terhadap sejumlah pihak, termasuk saksi, ahli perlindungan konsumen, ahli laboratorium uji mutu produk dari Kementerian Pertanian, serta ahli pidana.

“Pelaku usaha melakukan produksi dan memperdagangkan beras premium tidak sesuai standar mutu SNI beras premium,” ujar Helfi.

Ketiganya dinilai bertanggung jawab atas produksi dan distribusi beras premium yang tidak memenuhi standar nasional Indonesia (SNI).

Dalam proses penyidikan, polisi juga menyita barang bukti berupa total 132,65 ton beras, yang terdiri atas 127,3 ton beras premium dalam kemasan 5 kilogram berbagai merek, diproduksi oleh PT Food Station, 5,53 ton beras premium dalam kemasan 2,5 kilogram, juga diproduksi oleh PT Food Station.

Ketiga tersangka dijerat dengan Pasal 62 jo Pasal 8 ayat (1) huruf a dan f Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen, serta Pasal 3, Pasal 4, dan Pasal 5 Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2010 tentang Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang (TPPU).

Details of these assets include land and buildings in Bogor, Sukabumi, and Subang, West Java worth IDR 9.53 billion; transportation equipment and machinery amounting to IDR 769.7 million; cash and cash equivalents of IDR 1.44 billion; and other assets of IDR 1 billion.

Interestingly, in the report, Gunarso did not have any debt during his tenure as a director at the state-owned company.

Previously reported, the National Police's Food Task Force named three suspects in the case of rice circulation that did not comply with quality standards or adulterated rice. One of the suspects is the President Director of PT Food Station, Gunarso Employee.

"Investigators have conducted a case title and found two pieces of evidence to increase the status of three employees of PT FS as suspects," said Head of the National Police Food Task Force who is also the Director of Special Economic Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Helfi Assegaf to reporters, Jakarta, Friday, August 1.

Two other suspects, namely RL as Director of Operations and RP who served as Head of Quality Control Section.

The determination of the three suspects was made after investigators conducted a series of investigations and examinations on a number of parties, including witnesses, consumer protection experts, laboratory experts for product quality testing from the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as criminal experts.

"Business actors do production and trade premium rice not according to the quality standards of premium rice SNI," said Helfi.

The three of them are considered responsible for the production and distribution of premium rice that does not meet Indonesia's national standards (SNI).

During the investigation process, the police also confiscated evidence in the form of a total of 132.65 tons of rice, consisting of 127.3 tons of premium rice in 5 kilograms of various brands, produced by PT Food Station, 5.53 tons of premium rice in a 2.5 kilogram packaging, also produced by PT Food Station.

The three suspects were charged with Article 62 in conjunction with Article 8 paragraph (1) letters a and f of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, as well as Article 3, Article 4, and Article 5 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Crime of Money Laundering (TPPU).
