Danantara Has Appointed A BUMN Investment Holding

JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission XI DPR RI Mukhamad Misbakhun revealed that the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) has appointed one SOE as an investment holding company tasked with managing dividends.

This was conveyed by Misbakhun after a hearing with SOE Minister Erick Thohir, and Danantara Indonesia Chief of Executive Officer (CEO), Rosan Roeslani, and Danantara Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Pandu Sjahrir.

Misbakhun said the Danantara investment holding has now started working, although it has not been officially announced by the government.

"The BUMN (appointment) was already done. Earlier we also provided some input," he said after a working meeting and a hearing with Danantara Indonesia in Jakarta, Wednesday, July 23.

Misbakhun also provided a grid of state-owned companies appointed as the Danantara investment holding company. He said the SOEs were still correlated with investment activities.

For your information, Danantara previously appointed PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI), which is currently known as PT Danantara Asset Management (Persero), as an operational holding and is directly supervised by Danantara Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dony Oskaria.

The decision was made in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 15 of 2025 concerning the Addition of State Equity Participation into Share Capital of Company Company (Persero) PT Bureau of Classification Indonesia for Establishment of Operational Holding.

Meanwhile, the investment holding which will be led by CIO Danantara Indonesia Pandu Patria Sjahrir has yet to be launched. Based on the provisions, this holding has the authority to manage investment and empower assets to increase investment value.

All investment holding shares are owned by the Indonesian government. In detail, the state owns 1 percent of Series A Dwiwarna shares with privileges through the Ministry of SOEs and Danantara owns 99 percent of Series B shares.
