Vice President Corporate Secretary and Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) Ria Marlinda Paallo said the 17,459 vehicles passed from the East Trans Java region via the Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) to Cikampek Utama GT.
Ria also said that the total number of vehicles passing during the discount period increased by 91.36 percent compared to normal traffic, which was 9,111 vehicles.
"This significant increase reflects the high enthusiasm of the public in utilizing discount programs to travel more efficiently and comfortably," Ria said as quoted from her written statement, Tuesday, July 15.
He added that an increase in the volume of vehicle traffic also occurred in the East Trans Java region, which also enjoyed toll tariff discounts. It is known, as many as 26,025 vehicles crossed GT Singosari to GT Kepangan Utama.
