Working Meeting With DPR, Maruarar Sirait Asks To Open A Budget Block Of IDR 1.8 Trillion

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait (Ara) submitted a request to Commission V DPR RI to encourage the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) to unblock the 2025 budget of IDR 1.8 trillion.

This was conveyed by Ara in a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission V of the DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, July 10.

"We ask that we are allowed to unblock the DIPA budget for the 2025 budget year amounting to Rp1.8 trillion," said Ara.

Ara explained that the budget will be used for the use of multi years contract (MYC) for the construction of flats (Rusun) in IKN amounting to Rp. 86.83 billion. Then, the revitalization of Wisma Atlet in Kemayoran was Rp. 86.93 billion.

"For the completion of the work at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran to be habitable and ready to live, such as Wisma Atlet Pademangan," he said.

Furthermore, said Ara, the construction of the DOB flat in Papua amounted to Rp136.92 billion.

According to him, his party will meet with the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) to ensure the safety of the flat construction there on July 22.

"For Papua, later we ask that on 21 or 22 (July 2025) we will meet with the Head of BIN to ensure that it can be carried out safely or not," he said.

The indicative ceiling of the Ministry of PKP this year is set at IDR 3.4 trillion, with the realization until June 30, 2025, reaching IDR 970.46 billion.
