JCI Is Projected To Be Under Pressure By The End Of The Week, These Are Five Stocks With Potential Cuan

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is projected to still be depressed in today's trading, Friday, June 20. Phintraco Sekuritas in its research estimates the JCI will move in the resistance range of 7,230, pivot 7,040, and support 6.850.

Phintraco Sekuritas explained that the JCI was under pressure by negative sentiment from the Israeli-Iran war escalation potential. The market is worried that this war could spread and involve more countries, particularly some major countries that support both Israel and Iran.

"This condition will increase the complexity of this war which has the potential to narrow the peace space," wrote Phintraco Sekuritas.

This, continued Phintraco Sekuritas, had a direct impact on the disruption of the supply chain of a number of energy commodities, especially oil and gas. This has triggered a price spike in the two commodities.

Phintraco Sekuritas assessed that this occurred as energy prices increased, the risk of inflation increased, so that central bank spaces, especially the Fed, to cut benchmark interest rates in the remainder of 2025 were narrower.

On the other hand, Phintraco Sekuritas said, the current US economy requires economic stimulus, including fiscal stimulus to recover. These things rebuild concerns about the risk of recession in the US which will certainly have a negative impact on global economics.

Specifically for Indonesia, in addition to the negative impact of external sentiment above, several stocks are also indicated to have experienced significant profit taking.

"Market participants seem to take advantage of the war sentiment as validation to carry out sell off," explained Phintraco Sekuritas.

Thus, Phintraco Sekuritas predicts that today's JCI will still be depressed and have the potential for support tests of 6,820-6,850.

"Technically, a minor double top pattern was formed along with last Thursday's weakening," explained Phintraco Sekuritas.
