JAKARTA PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MedcoEnergi) announced the achievement of the First Oil Lifting from the Forel Oil and Gas Field at South Natuna Sea Block B.
Production from this field has reached 10,000 BOPDs and is accommodated at FPSO Marlin Natuna before being shipped.
Forel Field was previously inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, through a hybrid event on May 16, 2025.
FPSO Marlin Natuna is the first tanker conversion project to be carried out in Indonesia by the nation's children.
