Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo revealed that the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) will inject funds to BUMN Food Agrinas.
The Ministry of SOEs has formed three BUMN Food Agrinas. The company is a transformation of BUMN Karya, namely PT Indra Karya (Persero) to PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero); PT Yodya Karya (Persero) to PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara (Persero); and PT Virama Karya to PT Agrinas Jaladri Nusantara (Persero).
In line with the plan, the man who is familiarly called Tiko asked the three SOEs to immediately draw up a long-term business plan so that it could be accepted by Danantara.
"We hope that the long-term business plan or corporate plan can be delivered immediately to (discussed) together with Danantara and immediately provide capital participation," said Tiko at the launch of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, at Pos Bloc, Wednesday, May 14.
Tiko also said that Agrinas could use the fresh funds to carry out the food self-sufficiency program launched by the government.
On the other hand, Tiko emphasized that although all SOEs have been controlled by Danantara, the Ministry of SOEs continues to oversee the formation of composition of directors to commissioners within Agrinas.
"On the commissioner side, on the side of the audit committee, on the side of risk management, and the Ministry of SOEs continues to carry out governance in management and of course we hope it will run," he said.
Previously, the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/CEO of Danantara Rosan Perkasa Roeslani gave a signal that Agrinas might get capital disbursement from the Danantara dividend considering that Agrinas would later become part of the Danantara.
"With this new Danantara structure, Agrinas will later become part of the Danantara. Maybe it's not from the Ministry of Finance, we'll see the dividends we receive from this BUMN," said Danantara CEO Rosan in response to reporters' questions about PMN for Agrinas at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 25.
Rosan continued, Danantara was asked by the government to harmonize various programs and activities, including those involving Agrinas, to comply with government priorities.
"So, we analyze and according to our criteria, in essence, we, Danantara as the parent of Agrinas, are asked to harmonize all activities so that they are in accordance with the vision and mission of job creators, and see it as a positive thing," continued Rosan.
