JAKARTA - A number of traders at Kramat Jati Main Market, East Jakarta, asked Perumda Pasar Jaya to immediately continue revitalizing the market, especially for traders selling in los C and H.

One of the traders at los C Kramat Jati Main Market, H. Khairul asked for the arrangement and revitalization of the market to be resumed immediately because the building in his place of selling was in poor condition due to being decades old.

"We also want our place of sale to be repaired and become a proper place such as in fruit and vegetable stalls which now look good. Because if it's good, there will definitely be many buyers coming," he said, selling chili quoting Antara.

In addition to the already unpleasant buildings, he said, almost most of the shop's trellis are also dusty. Moreover, there are some uninhabited shops that add to the ugly view.

"If it's dirty and doesn't fit like this, where will any buyers come? So, now we just hope for a subscription, if it's outside of it no one will want to enter Los C," said Khairul.

Other traders who sell at los H, H. Riki also complained about the condition of the building in los H, which is still on the same roof as los C.

In addition to inadequate building conditions, he said, the large number of street vendors (PKL) along the entrance also made their merchandise quiet.

"Buyers don't want to enter because street vendors are free to sell in front of the entrance. We hope that apart from the repaired building, the existing street vendors will also be put in order," said Riki.

According to him, the presence of street vendors has filled the entrance since decades ago and the number has reached hundreds of traders. They are free to sell and cannot be brought under control because they are suspected of being arrested by unscrupulous mass organizations.

"They can sell because they pay millions of rupiah to mass organizations and it has been decades so it is difficult to control them," he said.

Therefore, he hopes that the revitalization and structuring will be continued soon and when it is neat, there will definitely be more buyers who come.

Responding to the merchant's complaint, Kramat Jati Main Market Manager, Agus Lamun, said that the revitalization and arrangement for C-1 loss have indeed become a continuation program. Currently, socialization has also begun to be carried out to traders.

"Currently, the socialization stage is still finalizing the concept, after which the execution is carried out. In essence, this year the revitalization will be carried out to make the main market better," said Agus.

In addition, street vendors at the entrances are also the target of structuring and are immediately brought under control. In fact, previous control has been carried out on the left side of the vegetable stalls and continues to move to other places.

"In the near future, control in the middle of the market will also be carried out. Furthermore, street vendors in los C and H will also be disciplined as well as the revitalization process," said Agus.
