"Until now, our personnel in the field are on standby to continue to maintain and ensure that the electricity supply in Bali has recovered 100 percent," said PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 3.

The recovery lasted less than 12 hours or on Saturday (3/5) at 03.30 WITA, all PLN customers in Bali had enjoyed normal electricity.

Darmawan explained that hundreds of PLN personnel immediately responded swiftly to the disturbance and continued to be on standby after the electricity in Bali recovered normally.

He also ensured the recovery of the electricity system in vital places in the public service sector such as hospitals, airports, ports and crowded centers.

"We continue to make maximum efforts while evaluating and strengthening the electricity system so that all customers can continue to enjoy reliable electricity as usual," said Darmawan.

He also apologized for the inconvenience that occurred and appreciated the understanding of customers.

"We apologize for the inconvenience that has occurred. We also appreciate the patience and understanding of all of our customers," said Darmawan.

He added that temporary indications of interference in the electricity distribution system.

"Technically, indications of disturbances have been observed in the sea cable distribution system, but the certainty of the cause is still being investigated and not the result of cyber attacks or others," said Darmawan.
