Danantara's Wealth Is Predicted To Reach IDR 16,855 Trillion, Where's The Source From?

JAKARTA - The Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) is predicted to have assets of up to 1 trillion US dollars (US) or equivalent to Rp. 16,855 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp. 16,855 per US dollar).

Head of the Danantara Implementing Agency, Rosan Roeslani, revealed that the value came from BUMN assets managed by Danantara worth US$982 billion.

"There are children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, below them again, so in total there are 844 companies, and they have been officially owned by Danantara since March 21," said Rosan after the event was met at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, Monday, April 28.

Rosan said the rest would be added from state assets managed by the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg).

"So this is everything that was previously in the State Secretariat, it will be under the Danantara, that's what it means," said Rosan.

Furthermore, Rosan said that as an initial stage, Danantara would manage the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex.

The GBK in the Minister of State Secretary, whose value was in value 8 years ago was 25 billion US dollars. So GBK and all locations here will be included in the Danantara," said Rosan.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto believed that the wealth of the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) could penetrate the figure of 1 trillion US dollars.

For your information, if it is calculated at today's exchange rate at Rp. 16,855 per US dollar, Danantara's wealth can be equivalent to Rp. 16,855 trillion.

"We calculate that our principles turn out to be rich, maybe soon Danantara's wealth will reach 1 trillion US dollars," he said after the City Hall of the Danantara at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Monday, April 28.

Therefore, Prabowo requested that Danantara's wealth be well maintained in a transparent and strict manner.
