President Director of PT Railink, Porwanto Handry Nugroho said that based on the trend of passenger growth in previous years and this year's data, there will be an increase in the number of airport KAI users.
"In the 2025 Eid season, KAI Airport prepared 414,518 seats, an increase from 373,108 seats provided in 2024," Porwanto said in an official statement, Sunday, March 23.
To support this increase, the Airport Train in Yogyakarta will operate 50 trips per day, consisting of 24 Regular YIA train trips and 26 YIA Express train trips.
Meanwhile, at the Medan Airport Train, 44 trips per day will be operated, covering 24 Srilelawangsa train trips from the Medan-Kualanamu connection, 17 Srilelawangsa train trips from the Medan-Binjai connection, as well as 3 Srilelawangsa train trips from the Medan-Binjai-Kualabai connection.

Furthermore, Purwanto reminded passengers to order tickets early to ensure the availability of seats.
"Passengers are also reminded to choose an airport train departure schedule with sufficient time before flights at least 2 hours before the departure of domestic flights and 3 hours before departure for international flights," he said.
In order to improve services to customers during the Lebaran transportation period, KAI Airport also added 8 Customer Service Mobile officers and deployed 110 security personnel to ensure the safety and comfort of airport train service users.
