JAKARTA - The Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) appealed to all farmers to update data on subsidized fertilizer recipients through the Electronic Plan for the Definitive Needs of the Farmer Group (e-RDKK) which has been opened from 6-18 March 2025.
This has been regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture (Permentan) Number 04 of 2025 concerning Procedures for Determination of Allocation and Highest Retail Price of Subsidized Fertilizer for the Agricultural Sector. In this latest policy, wood sweet potato commodities are now also included in the list of commodities entitled to receive subsidized fertilizers.
"We urge all farmers, extension workers, and officers who help with this process to immediately update the e-RDK data according to schedule. Do not let this opportunity be missed, because the updated data will ensure that the distribution of subsidized fertilizers is more targeted," he appealed. Andi said, this regulation aims to ensure that only farmers are truly entitled to be registered in the system. "Now, e-RDK data can be evaluated and updated throughout the year. If previously it could only be submitted in the previous year, now data updating is more flexible and dynamic according to conditions in the field," he said.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Agriculture, Andi Amran Sulaiman said that the change in policy for the government was part of reforming the government's policy to strengthen the agricultural sector and support food self-sufficiency through more efficient distribution of subsidized fertilizers.
"We want to ensure that the distribution of subsidized fertilizers runs more smoothly, transparently, and on target. This is a concrete step by the government to achieve food self-sufficiency and support the welfare of farmers," said Amran.
With the more flexible updating of e-RDKK data, it is hoped that the subsidized fertilizer distribution system will be more effective in supporting national food production. For information, the Government has allocated 9.55 million tons of subsidized fertilizer which can be redeemed since January 1, 2025.
