JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) will lower the price of Avtur at 37 airport locations in order to support the government's program to adjust aircraft ticket prices for the Ramadan-Idulfitri 1446 H period.

Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso said Pertamina's steps in adjusting the price of Avtur will be carried out in various airport locations managed by Angkasa Pura.

"As a state-owned company, Pertamina will always be present to serve the community to ensure that energy including Avtur for Eid homecoming flights remains fulfilled and smooth," said Fadjar, Tuesday, March 4.

The policy of lowering the price of Avtur, continued Fadjar, will start from March 18-15 April 2025. The price evaluation also continues to consider the volatility of oil prices and the current market conditions during the period March - April.

"This price is determined while ensuring business sustainability and support for the National aviation industry," he added.

The price decline in some of these locations, added Fadjar, was determined based on the trend of increasing Avtur demand at 37 airports. Furthermore, Fadjar said that this step is expected to contribute significantly to the success of the policy of adjusting domestic flight ticket prices during the Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr periods as expected by the Government

"We hope this initiative can have a positive impact on the stability of domestic flight ticket prices and support national airlines in providing competitive services to the community," said Fadjar.
