The construction of the Yogyakarta Bawen Toll Road, which has a total length of 75.12 kilometers, has started since 2022.
This project begins with the construction of Section 1 Sleman 'Banyurejo along 8.8 kilometers and Section 6 Simpang Susun (SS) Ambarawa (Bawen along 4.98 kilometers.
Currently, the progress of Section 1 development has reached 96.08 percent for land acquisition and 75.9 percent for construction. The completion target is in July 2026.

The construction of this toll road is carried out by PT Jasamarga Jogja Bawen (JJB) as the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT).
