Head of the IKN Authority Basuki Hadimuljono said the government had allocated a budget to build basic infrastructure in the banking area. The six banks that are ready to enter include Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI, BTN, Bankaltimtara and BCA.

Basuki said that recently the budget for the IKN Authority had been approved by the DPR RI. He said the budget could already be used to continue the construction of the new capital city.
"Yesterday, the budget was approved at IDR 4.2 trillion for infrastructure to pass through investment areas that have been groundbreaking, not blocked. So, thank you everyone, hopefully according to our plan we will both build IKN," he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy for Funding and Investment of the IKN Authority Agung Wicaksono expressed his appreciation to the pioneer banks. According to him, the role of banking in IKN will be very important.
